AdAge Reports The Fat Tire Craze In Minnesota

Comparing Fat Tire to the iPhone, Jeremy Mullman of AdvertisingAge.com takes an interesting look at the marketing of craft beers as they expand into new markets.  The article focuses its attention on the experience of Surdyk’s as customers lined up to be the first to buy a Fat Tire in Minnesota.

Surdyk’s sold more than 600 $40 cases of Fat Tire in the first hour, roughly equivalent to 0.14% of the fast-growing craft brand’s entire 2006 national shipment volume.
