Anheuser-Busch To Raise Beer Prices In 2007 & 2008

Budweiser brewer Anheuser-Busch reported today that their second quarter earnings were up 6.1%, just under their projected 7-10% growth goal.

That alone doesn’t mean much to us.  But this excerpt does:

Anheuser said it plans to implement price increases on the majority of its U.S. beer volume in early 2008, with a few selective price increases in the fourth quarter 2007.
