BeerTender Brought To The States By Heineken, Krups
Heineken and Krups recently announced the American release of BeerTender, a beer storing and pouring appliance for your home. The new device is designed to hold a 5 liter Heineken Keg and to keep the beer fresh for 30 days. Williams-Sonoma stores in California will be selling the appliance starting March 1. You’ll be able to pick one up for $400 at the Mall of America in April.

German Company Has New Way To Keep Keg Beer Cold
You have to scan through this article to find it, but FoodProductDaily.com is reporting that German brewer Gaffel Becker & Company has developed a 5 liter keg that doesn’t require refrigeration. Instead, the brewer includes a pressure sleeve with the keg that will keep the beer at drinking temperature for up to 3 hours.
